Princess Tea Party by HollyBell Princess Tea Party by HollyBell
This one took a while, as you can probably guess :D It's inspired by a painting of Empress Eugenie and her ladies by Winterhalter. It just suited the princesses too much, unfortunately there were only 9 characters so I couldn't fit all the ladies I wanted !

Please don't crop, edit or redistribute.
Please don't use it as graphic without my permission either !

These are awesome!! Would you consider allowing them to be charted for cross stitch? Because they are so divergent the charts could be sold legally in my etsy store ( I can show you legal documentation) and you would get half the proceeds and retain the copyright and the credit for the original work. Let me know if you are interested, I don't know how to contact you other than leaving a comment :) (Smile) I can also show you examples of my work.

Sorry but no, these cannot be sold in any form whatsoever. Disney has been very clear in the past about that. A fanart, however different, remains a fanart, and the characters are clearly recognizable, so it would still be illegal. Sorry !

I understand and I would never either use your work without your permission or break any copyright laws. But is legal

No it's not, this kind of fanart does not fall into the category of fair use nor of transformative use. Dressing the princesses in fancy dresses and with different hairdos is not enough for a work to be sold legally. There has been some precedent in that area and Disney is NOT lenient, trust me !
